Simulation tool for sizing the fleet of vehicles required to supply proppants (fracturing sand) to fracking locations.
The tool is useful for analyzing the risk of stockouts on location due to the inherent variability of the implicit stochastic process.

Methods used
- Based on discrete event and Monte Carlo simulations, specific reports are generated for estimating cycle times, required fleet, and on-location stock during each simulation.
- It is possible to use GPS information from vehicles to build all the statistical information on times and processes from the massive processing of this data.
