Development of a computer tool to support decision-making for the optimization of the tactical plan.

The objectives set were:

Optimize the allocation and distribution of production workloads across the company's various production units.
Consider multiple operational characteristics (impacts, wave types, number of colors, die-cutting, stapling, gluing, as well as varying productivity levels).
Consider the supply and distribution logistics structure.
Multiple decisions are involved for a medium-term planning horizon.

The goal is to minimize the overall cost of all logistics and production costs.

User parameterization allows the tool to be adapted to the specific constraints of the company, as well as considering different alternative scenarios.
